FAQ

Does this use the Twitter API?

No. The bookmarklet runs entirely in your browser tab and reads the bookmarks page you already have open. No API key, no developer account, no rate limits.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser. The JSON file is generated on your device and saved straight to your Downloads folder.

What does the exported JSON contain?

Each bookmark includes the tweet text, author name and handle, tweet URL, timestamps, media URLs, and engagement stats like likes and retweets.
